Daytona Beach is also known as world famous city beach. Daytona beach is located in Florida Region of America. Daytona Beach’s 23 miles of sparkling Florida sand provide plenty of surfside family fun activity to keep the kiddies content, plus a plethora of off-beach activities to keep them occupied away from the sun. Daytona Beach has sunny, hot summers and mild winters which can be a bit chilly due to the winds from the Atlantic nearby. The best time to visit Daytona Beach is between the months of October–May.

Daytona is a destination considered to be one of the world's most famous, for families, spring breakers, bikers and racing enthusiasts alike. In the Winter months, it is too chilly for beach going, but Daytona Beach is still warmer than many places up North. The area is visited my many so-called "snow-birds" who have Winter homes or condos in Florida. Hotel rooms are cheap and plentiful, particularly in December and January.

Daytonas's main claim to fame is and always has been the remarkable width and soft sand of the beach. Daytona Beach provided one of the best surfaces on the East Coast for high speed driving, and was used accordingly. From land speed records of the early automobile days to stock car racing after WWII, Daytona Beach has long been associated with fast driving.
